PROBLEM: This commercial client had recently renovated a library and converted it into the new “City Hall”. In doing this, it was discovered that the basement was wet and leaked after most rains. The client contacted HELITECH knowing it had knowledge of this type of work and could provide the client with options to solve the issues.
SOLUTION: HELITECH removed the floor around the perimeter of the foundation and installed the HYDRAWAY® waterproofing system. They also installed a new sump pump, sump pit, and discharge line. The client now has a completely dry basement allowing it to become an area for storing documents, and filing important paperwork.
Resolution: The administration and staff were extremely pleased with the workmanship, professionalism, and ability to utilize this much needed space. The mayor submitted this project to the BBB nominating HELITECH for the Torch Award for excellence and professionalism.
