Hydraway Basement Waterproofing System

What is Hydraway?

The Hydraway System

Hydraway® has built a great reputation protecting investments of homeowners through innovative technology in waterproofing. Hydraway® can be installed in your basement, crawlspace, used for exterior drainage, and installed behind retaining walls.

Hydraway® will capture water before it enters your basement, relieving hydrostatic pressure and resulting in a dry, comfortable area. Utilizing a four step process, Hydraway® Drainage System protects your investment.

The graphic below details the design of the entire Hydraway® System. Check out our "waterproofing" page for more details on this process.

Crawlspace Waterproofing

The design of Hydraway® allows it to relieve hydrostatic pressure by acting as a shallow underdrain. Hydraway® 2000 is a superior performing and cost effective replacement for the "French" drain, or other conventional "drain-til systems.

The backup battery case & charger (1) is positioned on the basement floor to power the backup pump (2) in the event of a power outage or primary sump pump failure.

The system includes the connecting pipe (3) which goes from the backup pump, into to the pit and is positioned next to the primary sump pump (4).

In the event of high water in the sump pit, the water level float sensor (5) will engage the system as well as an alarm to alert the homeowner the system is operating.

The water is pumped out of the pit through the included discharge hose (6) and into the main discharge pipe.
