Grout Injection (Mud-Jack) is a procedure used to fill voids under floor slabs and rise under pressure. 1 1/2"-2" diameter holes are drilled through the concrete slab. A grout mixture consisting of lime, portland cement and water (ASTM type 206 & 207) is injected into the holes. Under controlled hydraulic pressure, the grout flows and fills the void under the slab. Once the voids have been filled the slab will begin to rise.
