Soil Screw Earth Retention System is a gravity wall in which the in-situ soil is reinforced virtually horizontally with screw anchors. The anchor sizes and grid spacing are determined by the soil conditions and load capacities. A reinforced shotcrete veneer is appliedo the face of the wall.
The retention wall system provides: structural stability, protection to land or edifices behind the wall, navigation of slope grade changes, a division of property/land use, and soil support of undermined structures.
Advantages of the soil screw earth retentionsystem are the installation of the soil screws is much faster than that of traditional soil nails, the wall may be immediately loaded, no delays as a result of cure time, no spoils to remove, and the ability to be installed in any weather. This system provides an economical and efficient solution to your shoring needs.
