A client’s basement was of block construction and she was having problems with seepage where the wall and floor met. Also, her walls were showing signs of discoloration and staining from moisture in the blocks themselves.

Along with Helitech’s Hydraway drainage system, the client elected to have us install the Hydrashield wall covering; not only to protect from moisture but to also add a nice finishing touch to the basement itself.

Helitech installed the Hydraway drainage system around the entire basement, along with a sump pit and pump. The Hydrashield was installed at full wall height (from floor to ceiling).

Helitech was successful at solving the water and moisture problems. The job turned out very nicely and the client is very satisfied with the outcome. She can now enjoy her basement as a workshop area with plenty of storage and not have to worry about ruining a single thing!
